Q&A

RSVP -WHY AND WHEN

Given that we've secured a room block at the Hard Rock, we kindly request all RSVPs to be submitted by July 31, 2024. In addition to RSVPing on our wedding site, we also ask that you reserve your accommodation through our Travel Agent. Please note that a $200 deposit is required to secure your room reservation. This will help us determine if we need to secure more rooms at our discounted rate through the block.

HOW DO I RSVP?

Visit the RSVP tab on this site and enter your name as it was addressed on your Save The Date envelope. Once you search your name you will be able to RSVP for you, your guest/anyone else in your household. You must then contact the Travel Agent- Torey Anderson from Trips By Torey at 443-848-9036 or torey@goingplacesinc.com

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN AN ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT?

The rate you pay to stay at Hard Rock Punta Cana includes the room, all meals and snacks, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, most entertainment on the property, and non-motorized water sports. Please note that some activities will require an additional fee such as spa services or private tours and excursions. There are some bars/clubs and restaurants on Hard Rocks property that are not all inclusive. The bowling alley, casino, night club, Youyu and Montserrat Manor restaurants are not all-inclusive.

DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO ATTEND?

Since this is an international trip, you do need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. Passports normally take 4-6 weeks to process, but have recently been slowed down due to the pandemic. We suggest applying a minimum of 6 months in advance as a precaution.

WHEN SHOULD GUEST START ARRIVING?

Based on our room block, guests are able to start arriving as early as Tuesday, April 29, 2025. We ask that all guests try their best to arrive by Wednesday, April 30, 2025

WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND?

We completely understand, just let us know! Our sincerest hope is that no one feels guilty, as you must make the best decision for your family, prior obligations, and your budget. You will be met with total understanding and love from both of us.

AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN FLIGHT?

Yes, guests will be responsible for their own flights. If necessary, Trips by Torey is available to help you find and book the most affordable flight.

WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY TO?

All guests will need to fly into the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).

HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RESORT?

Private transportation to and from the airport will be available for you to add onto your trip when you book with Trips by Torey. Once your flight is booked you will need to email Trips by Torey your flight information so they can coordinate your ground transfer from the airport to the hotel.

WHEN SHOULD I LOOK INTO FLIGHTS?

The ideal time is usually 2-8 months out. We suggest shopping around through Hopper, Kayak, GoogleFlights, Skyscanner, and local airlines for best rates.

WHAT’S THE CEREMONY DRESS CODE?

Formal attire is requested.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

While we love children, we have opted for an adult-only celebration. Kids are more than welcome at the resort but will not be able to attend the off-site ceremony. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

SHOULD I BRING MONEY FOR TIPS?

Your resort fee has built-in tips for the staff, so while you are not obligated to tip, we recommend to bring at least $100 per guest for tips. Typically tips ($1-$10) are encouraged to show appreciation for shuttle drivers, bartenders, waitstaff, cleaning staff, tour guides and spa staff.

DO THE RESTAURANTS AT THE RESORT HAVE A DRESS CODE?

Yes, the dress code at restaurants falls into 2 categories: Casual – Bermudas, long shorts, or capri pants. Sneakers, tennis shoes or sandals. No sleeveless shirts for men. No bathing suits. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up. Casual Elegance – Sneakers, tennis shoes, or dress sandals. Dress shirts with sleeves. Long pants required for men. No sleeveless shirts for men. Please pack accordingly.

DO YOU HAVE A GIFT REGISTRY?

Your presence at our wedding and the fact that you are traveling so far to be with us on our special day is truly the greatest gift we could receive.
